President Trump is set to arrive in India on February 24 andexpectations are high from his two-day state visit on further advancing India-US bilateral relations. One of the major issues which will be on cards during Trump's meeting with PM Modi is the trade deal between both the nations.Meanwhile, Trump, just days before his visit interacted with reporters on the expected trade deal with India.
Speaking to reports, Donald Trump said he is "saving the big deal" with India for later and he "does not know" if it will be done before the presidential election in November, clearly indicating that a major bilateral trade deal during his visit to Delhi next week might notbe on the cards.
"We can have a trade deal with India. But I'm really saving the big deal for later," he told reporters at Joint Base An drewsTuesday.
